I recently realized that The Bink is the only member of our family not to have made it onto the blog. Here is my boy. He is 11 1/2 and by far the most low-maintenance member of the family (as in practically fell of the radar after the boys were born). One of his few quirks is that he will only drink running water. Thus, you will often find him lying (in wait) in the bathroom sink. I do draw the line at the kitchen sink.

That is a GREAT picture!
I love your sink...and the cat drinking from it. My brothers cats all do that. They won't drink from a bowl.
Hey...in response to your comment at my place today...I am the queen of procrastinators. I could do a whole post on it. ;)
Oh and it may be 45 degrees today, but it's been under 20 for three weeks straight. Plus it's supposed to snow on Tuesday and Thursday of next week.
Hey, this is too funny...the first time I visit your blog and you are writing about a cat. And not just any cat, apparently. I SO relate to this as we have a 15 year old cat who went on stand by after the birth in 1 year of our two children - 10 months apart.
O.K., you CRACKED me up with your comment on my blog about the "SWIFFER jousting event." Very creative use of materials. Please don't give my kids any ideas. Thanks so much for coming by and your blog header is hysterical. I'm so glad to find you via your comment!
I just found your blog, I had a cat that did that. Oh how I wish I still had that photo. Drinking out of the faucet...
At least no messy water dish!
More people should know that cats are picky about their water - they prefer running water or big dog sized bowls. Ours cleverly combines the two by using her paw to agitate the water before drinking - good for cleaning the adjacent carpet too..
