It's Not Just Me

Scene:  Playground at school, just before dismissal.  Mom (not me!) holding her truly pissed off nearly-five-year- old.

"We don't touch other people's throw up.  It has germs.  We've talked about this."

It's all just one big continuation of "don't touch that - don't eat that - don't lick that..." It's exhausting.

Awesomeness... somehow I am glad I was not there today. I think even my mini-me knows not to touch that one... I THINK.

I love that this is clearly not the first time this has happened.

Things you'd never thought you'd say...and then you become a mother.

I feel so lucky having survived and not having to say, "Don't,". Being a grandmother does have its perks.
