Mind If I Axe You a Question?

As part of my Christmas present, Andy bought me a really nice pair of Dolce and Gabana sunglasses. So nice in fact, that I initially though the glasses case they came in was actually a really cute clutch purse.

Now I haven't paid more than $16.00 for a pair of Target sunglasses in nearly seven years. I do like the ones he got me but am unsure whether they really work for my current sweater-and-jeans lifestyle. So I need some help deciding.

Here's me, sunglasses-less (yes, my hair is huge, I'm learning to live with it):Here's me in my current, Target sunglasses (please ignore "necky-ness" - trust me when I tell you this was the best of the bunch.):
Here's me in my super-cool D&Gs:
Well, what do you think?

I'm a $16 Target girl, too. Mostly because I end up losing them or breaking them at some point.

I do like your D&Gs, but I'd have the same dilemma.

So no help, here. You look great in both pictures! Maybe other commenters will be more useful...

You rock the D&G's. Especially with the Posh Spice no smile.

It all boils down to whether or not you want to commit to taking really good care of a pair of sunglasses. I would now, but no way when my kids were younger.

The D&G's are fabulous!

I say enjoy them, but only if you're really able to enjoy them.

If having expensive sunglasses is going to stress you out, then maybe you're better off returning them.

What was your question? Are you thinking of taking them back? Don't do it! Just carry the case around with you in your purse and put the sun glasses in the case when you are not wearing them... and for the love of god, KEEP THEM AWAY FROM YOUR YOUNGEST SON!!!

Keep the D&G's - you do go out sans kids occassionally! And wear the Target ones around the kids & with the jeans! Always nice to have something special when you go out!

aw, to have hair like that. My pony tail is becoming but a twig.

You ROCK the D&Gs. Totally hawt you are!

Very hawt! Guard them with your life.

File this under "what was I thinking?". OF COURSE YOU SHOULD KEEP THEM, you silly mommy! They look totally hot on you and Andy gets major props for giving you such a glamourous prezzie :-). Lucky girl!

They are perfect. Keep them and guard them. I would sit on them or lose them in like 8.9 seconds. Well, maybe I wouldn't, they look really good!

I think you look beautiful in all the photos. The last photo definitely makes you look the most like a movie star and give you the most privacy behind your lenses.

I suck at keeping sunglasses in one piece. They get squished in my purse, sat on, scratched, lost, you name it. I don't have the heart to spend more than $20 on a pair because I know they will end up destroyed.

I'd be afraid to own them! But yes, they look nice.

I am the worst with sunglasses. Partly because I think I look pretty bad in almost every pair I buy (even with help from a professional that can select frames that suit my face). I blame my nose. I usually buy a pair from Sunglasses Hut (almost ALWAYS RL) and then neglect to wear them until I lose them and buy another pair.

So I'm not the best judge when it comes to the eyewear choices of others... But I think your new ones really do look great! Not that this should mean anything...

I love cheap sunglasses!

OK, maybe I love the cheap ones because I can't afford the expensive ones. I just love going into TJMAXX and trying on and buying sunglasses. I do not treat them very well, I guess, because they usually wind up breaking in 6 months or so.

You look movie star-esque in the DC's so you will certainly rock Disney with them! Keep them and give your hubby an extra kiss!
