Shameless Wednesday

In my defense, it was 1986.

Now I double dog dare you; post yours.

  1. ZOMG! You rocked the 80s! Love the eye shadow! And the cane? Priceless! I think I burned mine. But for you, I will look and see. (Think fingerless lace gloves, a la Madonna. The horror.)

  3. With a monacle and top hat you could have been dating Mr. Peanut. Gotta love the '80's.

  8. Yeah - my eye immediately went to the walking stick. Totally upstages your ruffles. My 80s pictures just aren't that funny... I have some very unfortunate fringe going on during freshman and sophomore year, but my poofs were pretty conservative in comparison to most of what I see out there....

I give you and your date top scores for color coordination. And best use of hair product.

  10. I did post mine--heck, I married the guy. I was 1982, so I was on the tail end of the 70s vibe--more flowy and ribbon in the hair-y.

  14. Now THAT is choice. I have one also taken in 1986. I think it may be buried in my archives. I'll take a look and get back with you!

  16. This is my first visit to your blog. And I don't meant to be offense, honest I don't. When I saw this my first thought was "wow, her parents let her date a pimp?! How very progressive." Then I saw the Mr. Peanut comment. I think I shall love your blog. As if the coffee reference in your tag line wasn't enough.

  17. Sadly, I cannot post mine because I DID NOT GET ASKED TO MY PROM!

    What I wouldn't have done for a date with a cane! : )
